I did get a new High Efficiency A/C the last part of April but it has not run very much at all and this still looks very good. Although it has not been real hot I expect to see a good difference. My bill now, on average is $80 to $90 p/month lower than before the radiant barrier was installed. Radiant barrier keeps heat in the attic instead of in the house. As a result a/c units do not have to work as hard to keep a house cool. I am not sorry I had radiant barrier installed in my home. It's well worth it if you are looking for somethig to save energy. We noticed a change before your crew had completed their work, and that night it was very noticeably cooler in the house. We left the thermostat setting alone for a week, but finally turned it up 3 degrees due to the fact it was too cool! We have it set at 78 degrees and it is very comfortable everywhere in the house.
